Anada pointed out that in the first half of the year, the iron phosphate market continued to boom, and the product was in short supply. The company actively planned the industrial layout and increased investment in the new energy industry. The first phase of the 50,000-ton/year iron phosphate expansion project was completed and put into operation. The output, sales, operating income and profit of iron phosphate all increased significantly year-on-year. During the reporting period, the company's main business income came from the sales of titanium dioxide and iron phosphate. Among them, the sales revenue of rutile titanium dioxide accounted for 84.33% of the main business revenue, the sales revenue of anatase titanium dioxide accounted for 1.54% of the main business revenue, and the iron phosphate sales revenue accounted for 14.13% of the main business revenue.
Ananda previously announced that, in view of the future development prospects of the lithium iron phosphate market and the comprehensive comparative advantages of its holding subsidiary Tongling Nayuan in terms of technology and cost, in order to further improve economies of scale and profitability, Tongling Nayuan will replace the existing iron phosphate. The production facility will be expanded to a 50,000-ton/year battery-grade nano-iron phosphate production facility in two phases.
On the evening of August 12, Longbai Group issued four consecutive announcements, three of which were related to the lithium battery industry chain. Specifically, Longbai Group plans to invest 2 billion yuan to build a lithium battery material industrialization project with an annual output of 200,000 tons; plans to invest 1.2 billion yuan to build a battery material-grade iron phosphate project with an annual output of 200,000 tons; plans to invest 1.5 billion yuan to build an annual output 100,000 tons of artificial graphite anode material project for lithium batteries.
At the beginning of this year, China National Nuclear Corporation announced that it plans to invest 12.108 billion yuan to build a lithium iron phosphate project with an annual output of 500,000 tons in three phases, mainly building lithium iron phosphate production lines and supporting facilities. In August, CNNC Titanium Dioxide stated that the company's lithium iron phosphate project is in the process of environmental impact assessment publicity and land use rights.
Titanium dioxide enterprises have natural advantages in the production of lithium iron phosphate. In the production process, waste acid, ferrous sulfate and other wastes will be produced. After further processing, lithium iron phosphate can be made. Analysts pointed out that the construction of lithium iron phosphate production line can realize the efficient and value-added utilization of waste acid wastewater of titanium dioxide enterprises, and effectively reduce the manufacturing cost of titanium dioxide, extend the industrial chain of circular economy, and realize the green circular economy of comprehensive utilization of resources.
Lithium iron phosphate is one of the common cathode materials in the current market, mainly used in new energy vehicles, energy storage and other fields.
